Terms of service.

Effective from 24/09/2026. Booking a shoot means you accept these terms. A plain-English summary lives on the booking page; this is the full version.

1. Contact

Roberts Media, Hello@RobertsMedia.uk. Email is the contact channel for everything in these terms.

2. Enquiries and booking

An enquiry doesn't reserve a date. I'll confirm availability in writing, but your date is only secured once payment is received — the full amount for smaller events, or the deposit for larger ones. Dates are allocated on a first-paid basis. When your payment lands, you'll receive a confirmation email the same day.

3. Packages and prices

Event Photography: 2 hours £200 · 3 hours £275 · 4 hours £350. Longer Events & Weddings: 6 hours £500. Additional hours are £75 per hour — pre-book them where you can. If you need more time on the night, it's the same £75 an hour where the schedule allows, and if I can't stay later, I'll tell you before your booked time ends, not after.

4. Payment

Events priced at £400 or under are paid in full at booking. Events over £400: a 50% deposit at booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the event. Payment is by bank transfer using the details on your invoice, quoting your invoice number as the reference so your payment is matched the day it lands. Card payment is available on request.

5. If the balance isn't paid

The balance is due 14 days before the event. I'll send the invoice and chase it. If it's still unpaid 7 days before the event, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit retained — at that point the date can no longer realistically be rebooked, and holding it for you is what the deposit was for.

6. Cancelling — by you

More than 14 days before the event: everything you've paid is refunded in full. Within 14 days: fees are non-refundable, because the date can't realistically be rebooked at that notice. You can also reschedule once to a new date, as long as you ask more than 14 days ahead; everything you've paid moves to the new date with you.

7. Cancelling — by me

If I ever have to cancel the shoot myself due to a problem on my end, you receive a full refund.

8. Travel

Travel within 30 miles of Leicester is included — that covers Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Coventry, Northampton and everywhere in between. Beyond that, including Birmingham, I'm happy to travel by prior arrangement, quoted before you book so there are no surprises.

9. Coverage hours

Weekday coverage runs from 6pm; weekend timings are flexible.

10. What you receive

Full editing of the selected photos, delivered as a private online gallery with free downloads, within 14 days of the event.

11. Licence and copyright

Your photos come with a personal-use licence: print them, share them, keep them. Copyright remains with Roberts Media. If a venue, sponsor or anyone else wants commercial use of the photos, that's agreed beforehand.

12. Portfolio use

I may ask to feature photos from your event on my website or social media. That only happens with your explicit consent.

13. AI, and your photos

Your photos are never used to train AI models, and never sold or licensed to AI datasets or image libraries. Your event is your event.

14. Liability, complaints and law

If something goes wrong, my liability is limited to the fees you paid for the booking. Something not right? Email Hello@RobertsMedia.uk and I'll work to put it right. These terms don't affect your statutory rights, and they're governed by the laws of England and Wales.
